The drawing was held during Curly’s Cowboy Christmas dinner and show held at the Ambassador Hotel in Victorville, CA on Saturday night, December 13, 2014.  This quilt was lovingly made and donated to the foundation by Marilyn Pierson of Helendale, CA.             Francis and her husband Grover are long-time supporters of the Happy Trails Children’s Foundation and have attended all the fund raising events held by the foundation for many years, driving all the way from Modesto.  Francis also won a quilt in a drawing held by the foundation five years ago. She is a life member of the National Rifle Association, a successful hunter who enjoys packing in to the High Sierra for deer season every year with her husband, Grover. She also likes to hunt birds in the California Delta.             We send a huge “Thank You” to everyone who bought tickets for the quilt raffle. You are all winners because you helped support children-at-risk.
